I am cheating, by using a lot of photographs, as my brain is still too full of mush to write coherently, but Cambridge University Botanic Garden Alpine House is now (as always at this time of year and in spring) full of goodies, and the whole of the outside is looking pretty wonderful too, so here goes:

Dear Caroline Thank you for these gorgeous flower photos! I hope you are feeling better. Sorry not to contact lady week end but I had a bad reaction to an injection. Now I shall be working this weekend and meeting a friend. I do hope you can meet some other time.
Have you seen the new Egyptian exhibition at the Fitz? A friend of mine said it is worth the £16 entry fee! I know £16 seems a.lot. But I think.people are accepting it. Busy day as had to cover work while others went to Madingley Hall for an Away Day Best wishes Clare
